When jewelry designer, Ariel Gordon approached us back in early 2008, she was a fresh startup, with no more than a couple pieces of designs.
Regardless of the size of the business, we sat down with Ariel and had an extensive discussion as to how she perceives herself as a jewelry designer, where she wants to take her business and we analyzed her short/long term goals.
We also researched her competitors and studied her fresh unique design style, her jewelry making process and her price points. Prior to engaging in the design process, we explored different strategies and options, so that the solutions we come up with will be viable and scalable.
Design Solutions:
Logo + Brand – Ariel’s own design style and intricate methods of jewelry making inspired the logo design. We created an identity system that is versatile for her to use on all aspects of her brand from marketing collateral, packaging to web, print and signage.
Stationery Design – Sustainability is a big aspect of any stationery design. We suggested that we only produce items that will be used frequently. The rest of AGJ’s marketing collateral, were geared towards digital presentations. Her stationery design was printed using FSC certified paper & soy inks.
Web Design – The 2 key ingredients are scalability and brand integrity. We chose an easy e-commerce platform that can expand as she continues to grow her line, while maintaining the fluidity of her brand design.
Awards:
