It’s simply fabulous!
When Myrna Gordon of Feng Shui Fabulous of San Diego, approached me last year to design an e-commerce site for her, I was ecstatic.

Not only did I find someone that is truly passionate about Feng Shui, but her lightness of being and joie de vivre, reminded me of why I started my JOY collection in the first place. So, designing her website came fairly natural to me, and we worked harmoniously, day and night, categorizing thousands of meaningful gifts and objects from her travels around the globe. We wanted to create an experience that was truly engaging, simple, direct yet beautiful and joyous.
I believe we have succeeded, as the website design has just won the American Graphic Design Award 2009. I know I can’t take all credit for this fabulous website. I had a great team of talents; Gary Conaughton who patiently photographed thousand of products from little Chinese coins to large Buddha statues and Tee Peng from Lotus Seeds Design, that worked hard in programming the site.
Myrna refused to call herself a Master. Her humility reminds of a wise sifu, whose generosity has graced my life and my business in ways you cannot imagine or believe. Many have asked how I have been able to stay focused in my business despite the slow economy. I have to admit, it’s a LOT of hard work and dedication, but sometimes I think we all need a bit of good juju in our lives to propel us, that can be strengthened by the power of Feng Shui.
Some of the items that I love:

Eight Dark Green Jadeite Elephants. I personally have 2 sets of these at my entrance to my studio and my desk.

To those who have visited me in my studio, I’m sure you’ve seen me serving ice tea and juices in these.

Black and crystal chrysanthemum stone with wooden stand. I have a large green jade next to my office desk, protecting me and guarding my endeavors.
