Chocolate Luxury
We stumbled upon Hotel Chocolat, flagship US store, during our recent visit to Newbury Street, Boston. The store’s interior is your ultimate chocolate contemporary luxury.

Hotel Chocolat started as a mail order catalog company and in 2004 the first of many Hotel Chocolat retail stores appeared across the UK. Joe and I absolutely love their simple modern, packaging, and how they brand their different types of chocolates.

We truly enjoyed their Ginger Canapés, Mousse au Chocolat Truffles, Cup Puccino, and The Purist collection of Dark Chocolates.

Hotel Chocolat also brings a deeper brand value of social commitment to luxury food retailing. Their commitment to authentic cocoa and premium quality ingredients spurred their British founders Angus Thirwell and Peter Harris to purchase the historic cocoa plantation, the Rabot Estate in St. Lucia. Building on its Engaged Ethics work in Ghana, Hotel Chocolat partners with St. Lucian farmers, providing technical advice and expertise, and paying 40 percent more than the previous purchase price, both of which improve quality of life standards.
