Exhibit Design 100% Design Tokyo | 4 sq. m.
To do a trade show in the US is hard enough, let alone an international one. The logistics of shipping costs, setup time, marketing and travel are much more complex.
Not to mention, language barriers. 100% Design Tokyo is a highly reputable design show and the setup was very different from any show we’ve done in the past. The show organizer provided us with wall systems that we cannot attach any type of shelving units but can be used to apply graphics and hang light weight items.
Design Solutions:
Wall Panels: We ordered a couple pieces of metal bars across our booth and hung our own wall divider Dinding™. We created a tiny space behind the divider to store some of our trade show items.
Floor + Furniture: Flooring was provided by the show organizer. As for furniture, we brought our own pieces of Cubitec units from DWR, and used them as free standing display units.
Shipping + Assembly: Since this was an international trade show,we intentionally designed a rather simple booth, so that setup can be done in less than 6 hours.
Signage + Graphics: Vinyl stickers were used to not only showcase our Mel Lim by BLIK vinyl collection but for signage as well.
