May 4th, 2019
When: Monday March 4th, 8am
Where: KPMG Hong Kong
Hosted by IWIRC
Dear Members and Friends of IWIRC Hong Kong:
In honour of International Women’s Day and to celebrate both IWIRC’s and women’s achievements in driving gender balance (#BalanceforBetter), IWIRC Hong Kong in collaboration with IWIRC PRC invite you to attend our first Breakfast Bites session of 2019. We are delighted to have Mel Lim, CEO, successful serial entrepreneur, global strategist, keynote speaker, author, and award-winning designer as our speaker.
Mel will reflect on her career to date, and share her story and meaningful experiences of how she has successfully established herself as a sought-after consultant in male dominated industries – architecture and construction and then technology and venture capital. Mel also serves on multiple advisory boards and lectures worldwide on crafting innovative experiences through mindfulness. Mel recently completed a book entitled Turtle Design in a Rabbit Age. Published by CRC Press, her book offers a platform to help people achieve equanimity and find meaning in their work and lives through mindfulness, and companies to craft value by reframing their approach to impact creation and experience design. She is also a Forbes Woman and a 2014 winner of the World Women Leadership Congress’s Women Leadership Achievement Award.
Truly inspired by the Mel power! Mel’s speech was particularly inspiring to all the females in this modern age of gender equality. Her positive and energetic charisma has influenced and will continue to impact many of us. As a role model, Mel has demonstrated what constitutes a life worth living.
